Making Time for Making Art

Making Time for Making Art

January 26, 2016 | 7-8 pm ET

Presenters: Tina Hirsig, Craig Hinshaw, Donna Anderson

Include artmaking as part of your daily practice! Join veteran artist/educators as they share tips, tools, and inspiration for finding a successful balance between creating your own art and teaching artmaking to others, along with the challenges of everyday life.

• Learn how Tina Hirsig creates her drawings and sculptures while “giving back" to her community through teaching.

• Gain insight from the lives of Donna Anderson and Craig Henshaw who, with more than 70 combined years of teaching art, continue to create prints and sculptures, while authoring books for art educators.

Upon completion of an NAEA webinar, participants can view/print a Certificate of Participation with (1) clock hour of professional development per session, as designated by NAEA. Clock hours provided upon completion of any NAEA professional learning institute are granted for participation in an organized professional learning experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction and qualified instruction and can be used toward continuing education credit in most states. It is the responsibility of the participant to verify acceptance by professional governing authorities in their area.
