Amy Pfeiler-Wunder
PhD, Professor of Art Education and Department Chair, Kutztown University
Amy Pfeiler-Wunder is a professor of art education at Kutztown University, as well as the department chair and coordinator of the master of art education graduate program. She received her PhD in teaching and learning art from The University of Iowa. Her work examines the impact of intersectionality on one’s professional identity, with keen attention to views of learners and curriculum creation.
Evan Thomas
MA Art Ed; Dean of Equity, Inclusion and Belonging & Fine Arts Teacher
A teacher of fine art at independent schools since 2009, Evan Thomas currently serves as the dean of equity, inclusion, and belonging at Blair Academy. An active member of NAEA, Evan is chair of the Independent School Art Educators Interest Group and is a member of NAEA’s Cultural Competency in Teaching and Leadership program.
Tyson Trish
Since 2015, Tyson Trish has been sharing his passion and expertise as a photography teacher at Blair Academy in New Jersey. With a commitment to empowering students of all levels, Tyson teaches analog, digital, lighting, and AP Portfolio to help learners develop their skills and express themselves through the medium of photography. Prior to his teaching career, Tyson had over 15 years of experience as a photojournalist, capturing professional sports, politics, and breaking news for a variety of newspapers and publications.
Mary Kate Bergh
Mary Kate Bergh is a maker and educator with ten years of teaching experience in the K-12 setting. She currently teaches art at a K-8 public school in Philadelphia starting her career teaching high school art in Maryland. She has experience teaching a wide variety of art courses ranging in 2D & 3D art forms. Mary Kate received her B.S in Art Education in 2013 and received her M.Ed in Art Education in 2019 from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. In 2015, she was awarded Anne Arundel County Public School’s Outstanding New Middle School Art Educator through the Maryland Art Education Association. She presents on topics exploring relational pedagogy, professional identity, student voice, the visual journal, and creativity & play. A mixed media artist, and ceramicist, she loves the process of making.

Clock hours provided upon completion of any NAEA professional learning program are granted for participation in an organized professional learning experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction and qualified instruction, and can be used toward continuing education credit in most states.
